Dried crushed black currant leaf with a light touch of oak on the nose. A clear and spicy, lovely juicy fruit freshness of ripe plums, black currants and wild summer herbs give way to a lithe, elegant, and mineral derived palate. The wine has good texture and depth with lively, vibrant acidity and lingering length.

2017 vintage presented us a long growing season allowing the fruit to ripen well and catch the best of the late autumn sun. Hawkshead Pinot Noir is aged for 11 months in French oak barrels with 25% new oak. Drinking beautifully now, and can be cellared for 5 - 7 years. 

Tasting Notes

Service


Open this bottle 2 to 3 hours before at 14-16ºC. This is a young wine, so it needs to breath to express its complexity and its different layers of aromas.

Terms and Conditions

No refund will be made once we have dispatched the wine to you. We do not refund if the wine is faulty after opening. If your order has been packed incorrectly or is not what you paid for please let us know within 7 days of delivery so we can repack and send you the correct wine.

Kinross will make every effort to ensure that your wine is shipped to your door quickly and efficiently, and on the above timetable.  However, we rely on third parties to undertake delivery, and as such delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
