Our wine team have loved putting together this collection for you to enjoy. There are a range of stunning wineries featured, including four of the top Gibbston vineyards we are proud to be cellar door for - Valli, Coal Pit, Hawkshead and our own Kinross label.

- Man O' War Valhalla Chardonnay 2019 (Waiheke)
The 2019 Valhalla has a wealth of ripe aromas; nectarine and grapefruit with complex layers of baking bread, cashew and flinty reductive elements. Rich and fulsome on the palate, with a spine of acidity harmoniously interwoven with richness and a ripe citrus finish.
- Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay 2019 (Auckland)
"Still a Kiwi classic, Kumeu River's 2016 Estate Chardonnay features toasted grain aromas, ripe peach and nectarine flavors and a long, citrus-inflected finish. It's medium-bodied, with a plump, silky texture and up to a decade of aging potential." - Joe Czerwinski, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
- Millton Te Arai Vineyard Chenin Blanc 2018 (Gisborne)
On a mission to be the world's best Chenin Blanc (and getting very close with this one...) sustainable winemaking guru James Millton produces a stunning wine here, from New Zealand's first organic and biodynamic wine estate. Characteristics of mango, tropical fruit, lime and green apple acidity, complimented with a softening sweetness.
- Craggy Range Gimblett Gravels Syrah 2018 (Hawkes Bay)
A deep rich Syrah from the Gimblett Gravels, refined and structured with flavours of dark fruit, florals and pepper. A quintessential kiwi Syrah that stands up next to those twice the price.
- Dry River Lovat Syrah 2016 (Martinborough)
2016 was an outstanding vintage, with low cropping levels and elevated ripeness to give full fruit flavour on the palate. This wine was picked to reveal elegant fruit characters four - five years after bottling.. and here we are ready to enjoy this Christmas.
- Escarpment Pinot Noir 2017 (Martinborough)
Highly perfumed and spicy, this wine presents flabours of bright red berries, plums, cloves and cedar. Elegant and delicate, yet powerful - a stunning French-influenced Martinborough beauty from Larry McKenna.
- Dog Point Section 94 Sauvignon Blanc 2013 (Marlborough)
A complex full bodied style Sauvignon Blanc with a chalky minerality and fresh herbal influence. A true Kiwi Sauv for the die-hard fans.
- Framingham Classic Riesling 2019 (Marlborough)
Grown from some of our country's oldest Riesling grapes, a medley of different characteristics emerge from this wine including mandarin, meyer lemon, stone fruit with juicy acidity.
- Pyramid Valley Pinot Noir 2018 (North Canterbury)
A floral nose with raspberry and cherry aromas, with an abundance of savoury/earthy complexity. The palate is vibrant with tension and length, showing a nice mixture of bright fruit/herbal elements and a savoury structure that North Canterbury is renowned for. A new world classic.
- Valli Waitaki Pinot Noir 2018 (Waitaki)
Considered by many the Burgundy of the South, Waitaki is a region to look out for, for Pinot Noir lovers. We are the cellar door for Valli and this wine is a showstopper in tastings. Will not disappoint. "A delicately-perfumed wine with obvious cellaring potential" Bob Campbell, MW
- Rippon Vineyard Mature Vine Pinot Noir 2017 (Wanaka)
From one of our country's most specatular vineyards on the shores of Lake Wanaka, comes some of the finest Pinot Noirs. Rippon are a family-run operation with some of the oldest vines in Central Otago, which have been biodynamically grown for many years. This Mature Vine wine will age beautifully in cellar or decanter a significant depth of nuanced, harmonious flavour. Simply superb.
- Kinross 'Liquid Gold' Pinot Gris 2020 (Gibbston)
Fast becoming a firm favourite for wine club members and locals alike, our ‘Liquid Gold’ is the perfect summer drop. We are very proud of the third vintage which was harvested by our own Kinross team during the Autumn COVID lockdown. Fragrant with tropical fruit and baked pear, mouthfilling with bright acidity and balance and a long mineral finish. An absolute crowd-pleaser who will not disappoint when taken to a dinner party.
- Hawkshead Rosé (Gibbston)
A wine of class and elegance, it is vibrant, crisp and dry - in short, a sexy little number. The nose of our dry style Pinot Rose takes you into a sun-drenched summer meadow. The palate has layers of juicy red berries, subtle spice with gentle acidity and delicate, creamy texture. Summer in a bottle!
- Coal Pit 'Tiwha' Pinot Noir 2018 (Gibbston)
Integrated tannins finely balanced by a minerality typical of the Coal Pit vineyard. Showing good palate tension and linear length. The first vintage for Anika Willner as head winemaker. This wine should age beautifully until 2025.
- Valli Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2018 (Bannockburn)
This incredibly fragrant and elegant wine is from our cooler site in Bannockburn in a warmer growing season resulting in a highly energetic wine with great flow and incredible layers of red and black fruit, baking spice and earth. The palate is long and bright with cherry, raspberry, beautiful florals and cardamom. This wine is drinking beautifully at release and will continue to do so for at least a decade.
